All Twisted Up

I’m not a man who trusts easily unless I’m trusting my brothers in arms. I’d lay down my life to protect them. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps as a RECON Marine, I joined the FBI to keep on fighting for my country. When Captain Candy Sorensen tapped me to be part of a Tac Team of elite Special Operators from around the globe, I’d jumped at the chance. I’m good at my job but my personal life is a mess, filled with a series of never-ending one-night stands and nameless men, but my brothers are the only family I need.

Why would I ever want to find one guy and settle down? Life moves fast in my world. I hold down two jobs, live in a house my grandfather gave me, and am responsible for raising younger siblings who are dearer to me than anyone in the world. Friends tell me I should be dating…out in the world, having a good time. I don’t see it that way. The kids and I count on each other because we’re all we have, so asking a guy to commit to a man with my responsibilities, is hopeless. No one could understand the hell our family has gone through to stay together and even if they could, what kind of man would agree to a ready-made family?

Still, sometimes I think…it’d be nice to find one guy and settle down. They say opposites attract, but when a hard partying man with U.S. Marine Corps RECON training literally falls for a family man raising kids, both men find themselves living in dangerous times. The Mexican drug cartel targeting them for death, may have something to do with it. Non-stop action and relentless pursuit won’t stop Special Agent Nash Hampstead from protecting Joshua Calder with his very life…and just maybe, along the way…falling in love. Join them in the first book in the explosive FBI Files—Spec Ops Tac Team.
