Apex Guardian

A gritty LitRPG series featuring a unique monster-creator class and loads of strategic progression.

In a forest designed to kill you, it pays to be the one designing the predators.

For years, Vrax has survived the fringes of the Nightmare Wood, a mana-rich hellscape where the trees have teeth and the grass sprouts from your pooling blood. While his peers settled for Common and Rare classes, he held out for something better.

He found his destiny in the bones of a long forgotten savage god of nature.

There, he is granted a unique class called the Paladin of the Cycle, a rare designation allowing him to manipulate life, death, and decay, finally ending his long search for a power that matches his specialized skills and love for the forest's deadliest inhabitants.

Wielding his new powers, Vrax doesn't just hunt monsters—he twists them, adapts them into horrors the likes of which the world has never seen.

From "Sunshine," an evolving man-eating daisy, to a draconic apex predator that feasts on fear, Vrax is establishing a kingdom where the Cycle reigns supreme.

But the corrupt Church of Rembrand has declared a crusade to purge his "Ravenous Grove".

They call him a heretic. Vrax calls them fertilizer.

Experience the start of a gritty LitRPG series featuring a unique monster-creator class, slow-build power progression, a zero-to-hero MC, kingdom building, beast taming, and a protagonist who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty—or bloody.
