Below the Surface

By day, I’m Merrick, a merman performer. Elegant, beautiful, passionate, whimsical. Educating people on our planet’s oceans or livening up a party. I love playing a role and watching the light in people’s eyes when they see me in the tank. No one can resist a merman.

By night, I’m Nightmare, an anonymous vigilante streaming brutal justice on the dark web to a devoted online audience, delivering punishment to the monsters the system failed to stop.

When I get a call from someone I least expect, I can’t resist the siren song of taking out my biggest mark. The man destroyed my entire childhood, and for what? I get my chance at Influencer Con, where we’re both celebrities. This could be messy and oh so fun.

Unfortunately for me, I found someone to protect along the way and the more I get to know him, the more I fall in love.
