Bitten by Choice

This isn't a life I would have chosen for myself. In fact, I wasn't given a choice at all. A date that should have ended in a marriage proposal turned into the night my life ended—at least my human life.

I believed my life was over. Destined to live in solitude for eternity. But then I smelled something spicy. A scent that called to me beyond anything I've ever experienced. It called to me and I tried to ignore it, until I couldn't any longer. Until the day I picked up a stranger stranded on the side of the road, and knew he would flip my life upside down. Scarlette, or Scar as she is known among my colleagues, is an intimidating force, and the person I have to convince to accept my work proposal. The only thing that stands between me and my appointment with the infamous Scar is a flat tire that threatens to make me late, until she arrives. The scent of lavender follows her everywhere—intoxicating and mesmerizing. The gorgeous brunette who comes to my rescue is none other than Scar. I had no idea our lives would tangle together in pleasure and horror in the days to come. But I would choose it every time.
