Damage Control

***An enemies-to-lovers, stuck together, steamy hockey romance***

What’s worse than being assigned to the most arrogant hockey player in the NHL? When I’m his third PR agent… and we’ve both officially run out of chances. Luka Popovich is the Seattle Hawkeyes’ Olympic golden boy with a god complex—and after his latest scandal, he’s already torched two PR reps. Now it’s my turn. Lucky me. Taking this job is my last shot at proving I’m not the PR disaster everyone whispers I am. Except Luka mistakes me for a journalist, tries to charm his way into a “one-on-one,” and I learn fast that his idea of an interview includesno questions... and no clothes. My plan is simple: bury the scandal and broker peace with the Olympic Committee before Luka’s facing lawyers… and losing more than endorsements. Then he disappears on bye-week—straight to the Swiss Alps. And his agent gives me one order: Follow him. So I do the most unhinged thing I’ve ever done. I drain my savings to fly to Switzerland… to chase a hockey player who doesn’t want help halfway across the world. Of course there’s a blizzard. Of course the resort gives away my room. So now I’m soaked, shivering in a luxury lobby, swallowing my pride—and begging Luka Popovich to let me stay in his private chalet. With one bed. Now I have to fix Luka’s career, save my job, survive the Swiss Alps on my own dime, and stop myself from falling for the one man who could ruin me completely… All while he does everything he can to stay away from me. What could possibly go wrong? How about the part where Luka Popovich has decided that the only way to keep control— —is to make sure I lose first. ***The Rookie Hawkeyes Series is a spin-off series from the original: The Hawkeyes Hockey Series.
