Edge of Night

Forty below. A kill team closing in. An ambush in the Arctic night.

Ian Hale and Laney Shaw are in the big leagues now. Their career-making contract with Meridian Sub-Arctic—a multibillion-dollar global giant controlling thousands of miles of subsea fiber—sends them north to Oliktok Point, where a hardened cable landing station anchors a critical trans-polar line along the Beaufort Sea.

For Shaw, it's expansion—proof they belong. For Hale, it's another battlefield. Just colder.

Then the storm rolls in. Flights grounded. Horizon erased. Isolation complete.

Inside the facility, a critical system triggers without warning, forcing a desperate evacuation into a blinding whiteout.

Cut off, outnumbered, and exposed to lethal temperatures, Hale and Shaw uncover the truth: the site isn't failing—it's been compromised, turned into the choke point for a global intelligence coup.

Now hunted across open tundra and outgunned by a professional kill team, Hale must turn the brutal environment into his only weapon.

Logan Ryles, author of The Prosecution Force series, delivers a relentless Ian Hale thriller set in the frozen Arctic—where covert power plays collide and a soldier refuses to break. Recommended for fans of Brad Thor, Jack Carr, and Vince Flynn.
