Meek as a Mustang

In his debut book, viral content creator Ryan Miller brings a mix of nuanced insight and sledgehammer biblical truth as he reveals the lost Christian virtue that will radically change your life and how you follow Jesus.

Meekness. It’s a word that we think of as timid, quiet, or weak―someone who shies away from battle. But we have it all wrong. Meekness is like the wild mustang―powerful and strong, capable of striking fear into its challengers, but made gentle by the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s a character quality that exhibits strength under control and is submitted to the will of Jesus. And it’s essential in discovering your own God-given purpose.

In Meek as a Mustang, Ryan Miller turns a concept you thought you knew upside down and shows how the world is starving for a countercultural, biblical message. A life marked by meekness is:

risk-taking, bold, adventurous, and all-in enough to answer the call of discipleship

fully trusting in God as leader, ready to be in tune with even the slightest nudge of the reins

a redemption story, as Jesus tames the wild mustang into the warhorse and molds the seemingly irredeemable into someone purposeful for his kingdom

If you want to find rest for your restless soul, and transformational purpose for the ways God created you, you’ll find it right where Jesus promises it: his heart of meekness.
