The Aristocrat

Andrew Douglas is as brilliant as he is beautiful.

His work with MI-6 has given him a purpose that his immense privilege and title with the British aristocracy have never offered. After a tragic discovery in a Munich apartment and a brush with death, Douglas takes a step back from life at his posh estate and the people he cares most about. Embedded in the vast Flow Country of Northern Scotland, he finds solace in the seclusion. His only neighbor is a woman who isolates herself in Caithness for her own tragic reasons.

He can't hide forever. Douglas is driven to find out why his friend was brutally assassinated, while not becoming the next victim in a battle for power in Eastern Europe.

This is a standalone spin-off novel in The O'Brien Tales universe.
