When the Sirens Start

Riley doesn’t see a storm.

She sees what’s left behind.

As an ER nurse, she’s held shaking hands, stitched broken bodies, and watched families fall apart in the aftermath of tornadoes.

Storm chasers don’t impress her. They frustrate her. Because while they’re chasing the thrill… she’s the one dealing with the cost.

Jace has built a life on the edge of destruction.

With millions of followers hanging on his every move, he chases storms across Tornado Alley, living for the adrenaline, the science, and the moment the sky turns that impossible shade of green. It’s not recklessness—it’s purpose. At least, that’s what he tells himself.

They were never supposed to cross paths.

And they definitely weren’t supposed to matter to each other.

But when a volatile supercell turns deadly and the warnings come too late, Riley and Jace are thrown into the same storm. Forced into close quarters with nowhere to run and everything on the line.

Out there, survival doesn’t care what you believe.

It doesn’t care who you blame.

And it doesn’t wait for you to figure out what the other person means to you.

Because some storms change everything.

And some people were only ever meant to be found in the middle of one… before they’re gone again.
