X-Treme American Dungeon League 4

Garth McFarlane was supposed to win a championship years ago. Now, he's finally getting his shot.

After a season nobody expected them to survive, the New Arcadia Phoenixes have torn through the XADL playoffs and clawed their way to the Crawler Cup finals. The team that started the year as a punchline is now a breath away from hoisting the biggest trophy in dungeon crawling. The press can't get enough of them, the bookies are sweating, and even the analysts who wrote them off in preseason are starting to believe.

That should be the whole story. It isn't that simple.

His star Deathcaller is benched and pregnant (with his baby). His newest kitsune teammate is recovering from a stalking problem (again, stalking him). A literal goddess has made him her champion and is waiting—impatiently—to collect a very personal reward the moment he wins. And the road to the cup runs straight through either his oldest friend or the man who sabotaged his college career, depending on how you look at things.

That's right, in book 4, the final book in the XADL main storyline, you can expect things to get even more... X-treme!
