She Is Just My Neighbor

She’s just her neighbor. Her extremely attractive, ridiculously helpful, suspiciously familiar neighbor. Nothing to see here.

Beth Harper has everything under control.

She owns her first house. She has spreadsheets for household maintenance. She knows where every appliance manual is located. And she is perfectly capable of handling minor home repairs.

Mostly.

Fortunately, her next-door neighbor, Dani Flores, owns power tools, knows how to use them, and has developed an alarming habit of showing up whenever Beth needs help.

They share Thursday wine. Dani knows Beth’s garage code. They pick up groceries for each other. Dani even knows where Beth keeps her flashlight.

Perfectly normal neighbor behavior.

Then Beth’s mother visits, takes one look at them, and asks how long they’ve been dating.

They are not dating.

Beth would like to make that absolutely clear.

Unfortunately, her mother isn’t the only person who seems to think otherwise. And the more Beth tries to explain that Dani is just her neighbor, the harder it becomes to ignore how much of their lives they already share.

Especially when Thursday nights start feeling suspiciously like dates.

Now Beth has a problem that cannot be solved with a spreadsheet, a household maintenance schedule, or even the correct drill.

Because somewhere between borrowed tools, neighborhood cookouts, and ordinary Thursday evenings, the woman next door may have become the person Beth wants beside her for everything.

And that is definitely not in the homeowner’s manual.

She Is Just My Neighbor is a witty, warmhearted F/F romantic comedy about unexpected love, spectacular denial, and discovering that sometimes the best thing in your life has been living twenty feet away all along.

Part of Juno Jenkins’s Best Laid Plans series of standalone LGBTQ+ romantic comedies. Each novel can be enjoyed independently.
