The Dead Woods

When the world falls silent, survival becomes impossible without trust.

Bobbie Stevens came to the mountains to write in peace. Instead, she finds herself alone and isolated in the middle of an unfolding nightmare as society crumbles and the "infected" begin to spread.

Forced to find refuge deeper in the wilderness, Bobbie must rely on strangers whose motives are not always clear. Among them is Noah, a hardened survivor who's been handed more responsibility than he'd prefer. As their growing group struggles to survive the impossible, increasingly difficult choices soon make it clear who can be trusted—and who cannot.

As their fight continues to challenge them and love blossoms in the most unlikely places, one thing is clear: in The Dead Woods, the zombies are not the only danger lurking in the trees.

The Dead Woods is a tense, character-driven post-apocalyptic thriller and slow-burn romance, and the first book in The Blackbird Plague series.
