A Miner Inconvenience: A Cozy, Low-Stakes, Slice-of-Life Sci-fi Adventure (No Stress Space Express Book 8)

Between a rock and a fun place…

Howdy, pal. Rusty here, reportin’ from the galaxy's prettiest hole in the ground. This here mine has crystals bigger than my first apartment, shinier than a chrome bumper, and more valuable than my mama's secret biscuit recipe. And we're all set to haul a three-ton beauty home to get some friends outta hot water.

'Course, nothing's ever that simple. Turns out there's a mechanical glitch that's got the mining operation more gummed up than the bottom of a school desk in detention. Nothin’ for it but for me and Mike to roll up our sleeves and apply a little home-grown ingenuity. Luckily we've got Piper to give us a hand. And Jenna too, if we can get her to stop gazing at the sparkly rocks like they're puppies in a pet store.

After plowing through a blizzard cold enough to freeze the smile off a snowman, we figured the return trip would be a cakewalk. But this moon's weather has a twisted sense of humor, and the road home is gonna be a whole new flavor of ornery.

No Stress Space Express is a series about finding your true family, told with the common-sense wisdom of Jerry Boyd's Bob and Nikki series (Bob's Saucer Repair), and the low-stakes world building of Travis Baldree's Legends & Lattes. Join Rusty and his crew for a heart-warming, laugh-out-loud adventure with no tension, and no drama. Just good clean fun, great friendships, and a little romance too.
